Purebred Suffolk Sheep

Set on a small farm in Chatsworth, Ontario, Stonehill Sheep is the home of a purebred flock of Suffolk Sheep. Our sheep are the product of lifelong breeding work by Glen and Judy Porteous, with over a decade of partnership with Paul Dick and Tina Harrington.

  • WE WERE DELIGHTED TO BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE AGAIN IN THE CANADIAN SHEEP BREEDERS ASSOCIATION’S ALL CANADA CLASSIC SHOW AND SALE IN ANCASTER, ONTARIO ON JULY 8 & 9TH.

  • We used a new stud rams, STONEHILL PRINCE 3G, in addition to Arkell Valley 90G (tattoo AVS90GD) and Stonehill 9H (tattoo SHF 9HD), for breeding last year. We have had consistent outstanding results with these rams.

 

This spring we were delighted to learn that STONEHILL SHEEP was selected for the Ontario 2022 Genovis Recognition Award for Terminal Breeds.
